What is EQ?


Being a human being in the 21st century is:


24/7 expectations....

socially connected enough...

it's all on social media AHHHHH.....

real relationships are really challenging....

extended family is complicated....

work and money and power and powerlessness and...


Complicating our experiences is that when our primal brains are still waiting all the time to help us fight or flight so that we stay alive.

Under stress, the primal brain is where your thoughts and feelings are coming from and it is in those times that you say and/or do exactly what is not most beneficial for achieving what it is that you truly desire.

Fact: The brain does not reach full adulthood until age 25.


Fact: No matter how old you are, your primal brain is alive and thriving and can be ruining your experience of your life. Under stress, no matter how old you are, you react with anger, tears, destruction, estrangement and isolation.

Action: Observe all your thoughts, feelings and beliefs that occur in REACTION to what is happening

Action: Shift perspective on what is the truth for you about your thoughts, feelings and beliefs


Action: Create ALL your experiences by actions based on your new insights into your thoughts, feelings and beliefs


Outcome: Handle yourself brilliantly all the time with higher EQ!
