TWO THINGS YOU CAN DO ABOUT HATE!

Religious people hate other religions and the people who have different religious beliefs. Most of the wars in history are due to religious differences.


People who have one kind of skin color hate people have a different color skin.


PEOPLE REACT WITH HATE WHEN THEY ARE CONFRONTED WITH OTHER PEOPLE WHO ARE DIFFERENT FROM THEM!


Hate is the amygdala's reaction to fear of the unknown and the unknown is the same size and strength.


THE FIRST THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT HATE IS UNDERSTAND THAT THOUGHTS OF HATE...FEELINGS OF HATE...PERSPECTIVES THAT YOUR HATE IS VALID...HAPPENS!


Breathe in...breathe out...smile.



Here's the thing about hate. You may not be able to stop thoughts and feelings and beliefs that make you experience hate BUT (the truth always comes after the "but") there is one thing you can stop.


THE SECOND THING YOU CAN DO ABOUT HATE IS UNDERSTAND THAT WHILE YOU EXPERIENCE HATE...YOU DO NOT HAVE TO TAKE ACTION.


You do not have to speak out in hateful ways.

You do not have to use your body to express the hate you feel inside.

You do not have to add to the hate that people send out!!!


DECIDE TO HONOR THE TRUTH THAT HATE IS A HUMAN EXPERIENCE THAT HAPPENS!


BUT DO NOT ACT ON IT IN NEGATIVE WAYS! NO NEGATIVE WORDS...NO NEGATIVE ACTIONS!


If you do speak about it, speak about it as a truth for you...but that's it. You get to have your thoughts, your feelings and your beliefs...but you do not get to act on them in hateful ways.


Breathe in...breathe out...breathe in...breathe out...smile.


Stop hate. Unrealistic. Stop acting on hate. Totally realistic.
